How to Tackle Solar Conference Season

Conference season is just getting underway and we at Eco Branding couldn’t be more excited to hit the road. We’re jazzed to hear key industry players speak, check out new technological developments in the solar space, and explore new cities. But our favorite part of conference season is meeting face-to-face with fellow industry colleagues. We get to meet all types of companies along the solar supply chain from start-ups to well established companies.

If we had an unlimited marketing budget, we would attend, sponsor, exhibit and speak at every possible solar conference—big and small. However, like most of the solar industry, we have set aside a specific amount of marketing dollars towards conferences that will provide the highest value. The three biggest events we do not want to miss: PV America, Intersolar North America and Solar Power International.

Tips for attending a conference successfully:

  1. Look at the agenda before you arrive. To maximize your time, know what sessions or networking events you want to attend beforehand so you can schedule your own personalized conference.
  2. Set up meetings with potential leads. Take a look at the attendee and exhibitor list and set up as many meetings as you can before the conference.
  3. Don’t forget your business cards.
  4. Network and have fun!

Eco Branding will be attending three upcoming solar conferences. Drop us a line if you want to schedule a meeting!

  1. PV America: June 23- 25 Boston, MA
  2. Intersolar North America: July 8-10 San Francisco, CA
  3. Solar Power International: October 20-23 Las Vegas, NV
